Dear Parents and Players,
Please be advised that once players reach Minor Bantam, we no longer award trophies. It has been the experience of Whitby Minor Hockey that as the players grow older, they are less interested in trophies, and many are left behind in the dressing rooms and around the arena. In recent years, we have given a more useful momento at the end of the season, at the value that would have been spent on a trophy. This year, we are pleased to be providing Tim Horton's gift cards to all of our players at the Minor Bantam age group and above. Regards, The House League Committee |

Presented below are the protocols of the Whitby Minor Hockey Association with respect to the Goaltender position across our house league divisions. In recent years, we have seen a marked increased in the number of youths wishing to play this position. Therefore we thought it prudent to explain the Association’s approach to dealing with goaltending this season. |

The OMHA have changed the minimum credential requirements for helping on your bench. Each team must still have a carded coach and a carded trainer. The more bench staff that are carded the better. However, you only need to have PRS, a one time prevention services 4 hour clinic, and process a Criminal Information Request to be a part of the bench staff. |
