Whitby Minor Hockey Association

The Whitby Minor Hockey Association is fortunate to have access to nine (9) ice pads within three (3) unique arena facilities in the Town of Whitby. Additionally, we have secured privileges to use rinks in surrounding municipalities including Oshawa, Port Perry and Scarborough. WHITBY:

Iroquois Park Sports Centre: located just South of HWY 401, this is Canada's largest municipally owned and operated recreation facility, with six (6) NHL-sized ice surfaces.

McKinney Centre: in the North-Central area of Whitby, the McKinney Centre is Whitby's newest facility with two (2) NHL-sized ice surfaces and one (1) board less figure skating rink.

Luther Vipond Memorial Arena: located in the historic Brooklin community, this one (1) pad facility is in the North end of Whitby near the corner of HWY 7 and HWY 12.

OSHAWA:

Canlan Ice Sports: located in the South end of Oshawa overlooking Lake Ontario, Canlan Ice Sports Oshawa houses two (2) NHL-sized ice surfaces.

General Motors Centre: located downtown Oshawa, the GM Centre is home to the Oshawa Generals, with 2 ice pads and seating for 5,400 on the main rink.

Legends Centre: Oshawa's newest and largest recreational facility, Legends Centre offers four (4) NHL-sized ice rinks.

Campus Ice Centre: a shared athletic facility located on campus at Durham College and UOIT with two (2) NHL-sized ice pads.

PORT PERRY:

Scugog Arena: located 20-30 mins North of Whitby in Port Perry, the Scugog Arena houses two (2) NHL-sized ice surfaces.

SCARBOROUGH:

Canlan Ice Sports: in the East end of Toronto, Ice Sports Scarborough is only 30 mins West of Whitby and offers grill/pub fare upstairs, with a great view overlooking all 4 NHL-sized rinks.
